January News

It's the start of a new year, and we are thrilled to welcome you back to dance class. Now is the time to start practicing and polishing your moves in preparation for our summer recital in June!

Recital agreements will be sent out this month, so keep an eye out for them.

Recital agreements are an important part of making sure the event goes smoothly. It outlines any expectations and requirements for dancers participating in the show, such as costume fees, attendance policies, and information about when, where, and how to buy tickets for your friends and family.

When Recital Agreements are sent out via DocuSign, all families will need to sign and submit this agreement in order to participate. DocuSign agreements will expire at the end of January, so make sure to review yours and take the time to clarify any questions before then. We want everyone to have a great experience at our recital, so taking care of this step early will save you time in the long run.

Originally, we were unable to reserve CPMA for our June recital and booked Lincoln Highschool as an alternate location. Our desired location for the recital is CPMA and we now have the opportunity to make a request to rent for CPMA during the weekend of June 14th - 18th.

Within the next few days, we will be deciding on a location and date for our recital.

It will be either at CPMA on June 14th - 18th or at Lincoln Highschool June 22nd - 25th.

We appreciate your patience!

It's time to check the lost and found! The front lobby and back studio both have a variety of items, so make sure you take a look and see if anything belongs to you. Don't forget that all items will be donated at the end of the month, so don't wait too long to grab your belongings!

Monday, January 16th: MLK Day - a day when we take time to remember and honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., his fight for civil rights, and his message that everyone should be treated equally regardless of race, gender or religion. On this day, the studio will be closed so that everyone can recognize the importance of this occasion. Classes resume Tuesday, January 17th.

We can't wait to see all your hard work pay off in a stunning dance performance.

Let's get ready to dance!

Happy New Year 2023!
