Barbara Rinaldo, Director
Ballet, Modern Dance, Pointe, Children's classes
Barbara has taught ballet, modern dance and choreography for over twenty-five years. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet from the North Carolina School of the Arts and a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Michigan. She was Assistant Professor of Dance at Towson State University in Maryland for six years where she also served as Chairman of the Dance Department. Barbara has received choreographic grants from the Michigan State Council for the Arts, Towson State University, Meet the Composer, Inc and Morningside Festival in New York City. She is a Teaching Artist for the Visual and Performing Arts Department of the San Diego Unified School District.
Brittany White
Brittany White has fifteen years of teaching experience, a diverse dance background, and lived and danced in five countries. Studying with acclaimed dance instructors, she attended Gus Giordano Jazz Chicago and was awarded a dance scholarship from the nationally recognized dance program at The University of Arizona. Brittany also holds an MBA in International Management. She directed Ceroc the largest UK partner dance company and started Dance for Love, an amateur dance group that enabled dancers to share teaching and dance knowledge among one another. Brittany has most recently started EVOLVE Dance , a program to develop dancers’ character, academics, and creativity through dance. She currently teaches a diverse range of jazz and hip-hop at multiple studios in San Diego, takes advanced jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and ballet, and does salsa and tango. Brittany creates a positive and dynamic class, combined with heartfelt energy, excitement, and a love for teaching.
Lindsay Brzenski
Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Ballroom, Salsa, Lyrical, and Tap
Lindsay Brzenski has been dancing since the age of nine. She teaches jazz, contemporary, ballet, ballroom, salsa, lyrical, and tap. A San Diego native she has studied at various studios throughout the city. She has recently graduated from UCSD with bachelor’s degrees in both Theatre and Dance. While at school she studied and performed with Patricia Rincon, Allyson Green, Tony Callahan, and Jean Isaacs. Lindsay is the Technical Director of the productions presented at Sea World coordinating and running the lights and sound for the stages.
