Barbara Rinaldo, Director
Ballet, Modern Dance, Pointe, Children’s classes
Barbara has taught ballet, modern dance and choreography for over twenty-five years. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet from the North Carolina School of the Arts and a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Michigan. She was Assistant Professor of Dance at Towson State University in Maryland for six years where she also served as Chairman of the Dance Department. Barbara has received choreographic grants from the Michigan State Council for the Arts, Towson State University, Meet the Composer, Inc and Morningside Festival in New York City. She is a Teaching Artist for the Visual and Performing Arts Department of the San Diego Unified School District.
Lindsay Brzenski
Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Ballroom, Salsa, Lyrical, and Tap
Lindsay Brzenski has been dancing since the age of nine. She teaches jazz, contemporary, ballet, ballroom, salsa, lyrical, and tap. A San Diego native she has studied at various studios throughout the city. She has recently graduated from UCSD with bachelor’s degrees in both Theatre and Dance. While at school she studied and performed with Patricia Rincon, Allyson Green, Tony Callahan, and Jean Isaacs. Lindsay is the Technical Director of the productions presented at Sea World coordinating and running the lights and sound for the stages.

Viviana Alcazar
Viviana Alcazar, originally from El Centro, CA, began her dance training at age 7. She has a B.A. in Dance from California State University, Long Beach. While a student, her dance, “Custodis” was showcased at the 07’ American College Dance Festival Association in Missoula, Montana. Viviana has created original pieces shown: in San Diego at Sushi 4×4, Jean Isaacs Studio Series, 2009 Celebrate Dance Festival; in Los Angeles at the 2010 Brand Library Series; and in Long Beach for Domino Affect Dance Company. Viviana is a member of the professional modern dance company PGK of San Diego. She has also performed in Jean Issacs’ Trolley Dances. Viviana teaches Creative Movement, Hip Hop, and Modern at San Diego Danceworks. She is also currently a Dance Teaching Artist for the San Diego Unified School District, and Young Audiences of San Diego.
Danielle Drummond
Danielle Drummond has been dancing for 20 years. She began tap dancing when she was 3 years old. She attended her first competition at age 6. In Danielle’s 10 years of competing her competition groups won numerous first place awards including Overall Best Performance at Competition. Danielle choreographed a tap duet at San Diego Danceworks that received a Gold Award and Best Performance in their age group. She has been teaching all levels of tap and jazz and introduction to dance classes for children for five years.
